Skiing and Snowboarding – Palisades Tahoe at Olympic Valley and Alpine Meadows and Homewood within 10 miles of Granlibakken, so it’s easy to hit the slopes.
Nordic Skiing and Snowshoeing – Head to Tahoe Cross Country for a 65-kilometer trail system groomed for skate skiing, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
Mickey’s Big Mack Charters – Catch a Tahoe trout, the Mackinaw, on Mickey’s sport fishing boat! These underwater giants can weigh over 30 pounds.
Tahoe Gal – All aboard for sightseeing! This boat fits 149 passengers for scenic rides on Tahoe’s famous waters. A great way to see Emerald Bay.
Tahoe Sailing Charters – For a more intimate on-water experience, join this crew and the wind for a sunset or sunny day cruise.
Tahoe City Golf Course – A nine-hole favorite of the “Rat Pack” in the ’50s and popular with locals and visitors today. Sixth- and ninth-hole lake views.
The Yoga Room – Don’t forget to take care of your body while you’re here with yoga and meditation classes at this studio.
West Shore Sports – This spot just a short drive down the West Shore of the lake has rentals for just about every Tahoe City activity in the book: biking, stand-up paddleboarding, skiing, snowshoeing and more.
Tahoe City Movies – The Tahoe Art Haus Cinema shows the latest flicks year-round, but don’t miss Movies on the Beach at Tahoe City’s Commons Beach each Wednesday evenings in the summer.
Playground Equipment – A large, lakefront grass and sand area features swings, a mini rock wall and more at the four plus-acre Commons Beach in downtown Tahoe City. Picnic area and restrooms available here, too.
