Spooner Lake

A scenic hour-plus drive from Granlibakken takes you to the Spooner Backcountry, where you’ll find an alpine lake surrounded by forest, open space, and 50 miles of trails and primitive roads. You can walk the two mile loop around Spooner Lake or venture beyond to Marlette Lake, the Flume Trail, or access the Tahoe Rim Trail.
