The Bridgetender – If burgers, fries and beers are what you crave, then this is your spot. The iconic restaurant and bar on the banks of the Truckee River doubles its fun in summer with a spacious outdoor patio and bar.
Fire Sign Cafe – Since 1978, Fire Sign Cafe has brought fresh, homemade breakfast and lunch to the Tahoe basin. In addition to the restaurant they also have an Annex coffee shop.
Spoon – Gourmet American comfort food served in a quaint cottage.
Stony Ridge Uncommon Kitchen – Located just outside the entrance from Granlibakken. Pack a picnic with goodies from this spot specializing in hot lunches, raw food, and sushi to-go. And since it’s located inside New Moon Natural Foods grocery, they’ll be something for everyone here.
Sunnyside Steakhouse & Lodge – A Tahoe tradition. Come for casual fare at the bar or outside deck, or indulge in fine dining at the Lakeside Dining Room.
Tahoe House Bakery & Gourmet – Coffee brewed to order, and European-style breads and pastries to die for! Sandwiches, soups, and salads are available to eat-in or to go. This family-owned and operated spot has been a local favorite for over 30 years.
West Shore Market – Locally owned and operated market featuring local food, specialty wine, and products made by Tahoe-based artisans. Also featuring fresh-baked goods daily and a deli. They’re right on the bike path and across the street from the beach.

Bacchi’s Inn – Established in 1932, this timeless northern Italian eatery serves up huge portions family-style. This hidden gem is tucked away in Tahoe City’s Lake Forest neighborhood.
Blue Agave – Sip a margarita and enjoy classic Mexican fare.
Blue Fish – Hole-in-the-wall California poke bowl spot located inside SiPS bottle shop and tasting room.
Cafe Zenon Tahoe City – Specialty cocktails, freshly made and seasonal breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. Located right at the Tahoe City golf course, and the perfect place to stop in for just a drink or a casual meal. Open seasonally.
Christy Hill – Lakefront fine dining featuring French-inspired California cuisine.
Dam Cafe – a cozy café featuring espresso, smoothies, ice cream, pastries and breakfast burritos. Located at the Lake Tahoe Dam and Fanny Bridge.
Fat Cat – This café keeps it fun and fresh with sandwiches, simple pasta, and salads. Great music, a lively bar, and local art on the walls.
Front Street Station Pizza Company – Look for the red truck outside this small pizza joint that’s great for take-out. Enjoy your New York-style slices on the deck’s barstools overlooking the Truckee River in summer.
Jake’s on the Lake – A longstanding Tahoe City institution. Waterfront dining and cocktails featuring American fare with Hawaii and Southern California influences. Located in the Boatworks Mall.
Marina Breakfast Company – Waterfront breakfast spot located inside Moe’s BBQ and featuring southern-inspired breakfast classics. Try their specialty dish: shrimp and grits.
Mediterranian Cafe – Fast and delicious Greek and Romanian dishes, including: falafel, hummus, borscht, shawarma, gyros, tabbouleh and more.
Mirada Tacos & Tequila – Tahoe City’s newest taco spot. Lakefront taqueria and tequileria located in the Boatworks Mall.
Moe’s Original Bar B Que – A lakefront chain BBQ joint serving up Alabama-style pulled pork and other meats smoked in-house.
Mountain Slice Cafe & Creamery – Who doesn’t love pizza and ice cream? Mountain Slice serves thin-crust pizza and a rotating selection of ice creams from Hoch Family Creamery in nearby Minden, NV.
