The Executive Lodge and lawn was designed specifically for weddings and lawn receptions. Set apart from the rest of the resort, the lodge and lawn complement the wooded area surrounding them. The lodge is decorated with warm woods, open beams and a massive stone fireplace. A large outdoor deck opens to a sprawling lawn and natural landscaping including Ponderosa and Jeffrey pines. The Big Pine Room in the Executive Lodge has an adjoining lawn and deck. Reminiscent of the great room of an old Tahoe lodge with an all-wood interior, open beam architecture and an impressive stone fireplace, it is a wonderful setting for any special event. The outdoor Mountain Garden Deck has an elevated stage for the wedding party and a large seating area for guests. The Mountain Ballroom is a beautiful indoor venue for larger gatherings with an adjoining deck that overlooks the tennis courts. For spring, summer and fall weddings, the Pavilion is perfectly suited for outdoor festivities. Cedar House's A-frame design captures the magnificent mountain feeling of the Sierra. It is perfect for smaller, more intimate weddings. Tastefully decorated in cedar paneling, the Granhall is the center of Granlibakken's banquet facilities. Its windows overlook the patio and magnificent pines.
Packages for All Occasions
The Executive Lodge is an ideal place for your wedding. Our wedding package includes the ceremony and reception area, two nights of lodging in the seven-bedroom townhouse, breakfast each morning for 14 guests, a special dressing area for the bride, and a living room and kitchen for your rehearsal dinner for up to 25 people (catering not included).
Granlibakken wants to make your days easy! All room rentals include a full wait staff for up to four hours, set-up and cleanup, tables, chairs, linens and tableware plus seasonal centerpieces, candlesticks and bud vases. Our menu selections are varied and suited to your particular taste and budget, as well as the type of meal you want; sit down or buffet. Complimentary services include an event manager, cake cutting, toasting, umbrellas, and heat lamps. It is in your hands to make the choices to create your special day, it is our privilege to see those choices through. Through food, service, and attention to detail, we will work harder than you can imagine making sure your day is absolutely perfect!
