Ron Eber is one of our longest-serving team members here at Granlibakken–he has worked here for nearly 40 years! Ron is our Executive Chef, and hails from Chicago, although he has lived all over.

Ron got his start in fine dining-working for a number of restaurants throughout the nation, including Stonehenge in Connecticut, a well-known restaurant. He’s also worked in Memphis and in the Florida Keys.

Chef Ron loves the challenge of working at Granlibakken. He works with each group to create thoughtful and appropriate cuisine, and he loves innovating and staying on top of trends. Chef Ron says that he loves seeing people enjoy the Granlibakken food, and he loves the challenge of bringing fine dining to volume.

Fun Fact about Ron: Ron worked as the Director of Food and Beverage at the Olympic Training Center at Squaw Valley before being hired on as Executive Chef at Granlibakken Tahoe.
