Front Desk Agent

Front Desk Agent Duties Include But Not Limited To:

  • Greet guests (with a smile) and perform registration procedures;
  • Provide guests with appropriate and accurate resort information
  • Verify guests' credit, and establish payment for the accommodation;
  • Assist guests with, and follow up on, issues and complaints;
  • Answer incoming calls: provide resort information, make reservations or direct to appropriate department.
  • Possess knowledge of reservation policies and procedures; including groups OTAs and IRMs.
  • Maintain current knowledge of local area, attractions, events and weather.
  • Perform other duties as assigned;
  • Be able to competently perform all tasks on shift checklists
  • Maintain an upbeat and positive attitude when interacting with guests.
  • Open & close front desk as needed.

Front Desk Agent Job Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous guest service or hotel experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills required for guest interactions.
  • Basic computer (Microsoft Office) and typing skills required.

Assistant Conference Coordinator

Assistant Conference Coordinator Duties Include But Not Limited To:

  • Booking new event business, i.e. day meetings/banquet
  • Work with client on all event details and logistics
  • On-site and off-site activity planning
  • Preliminary planning
  • Confirmation of group’s agenda & distribution of information to departments
  • Attend weekly sales meeting and pre-conference meetings
  • Host site Inspections

  • Operation of Heavy Equipment - Occasional requirement to operate a Loader, Snow Removal Equipment, Groomer and other equipment necessary to maintain the property.
  • Maintain lawns & landscaping.
  • Must be able to lift at least 40lb’s.
  • Other duties as may be assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

General Laborer

General Laborer Duties Include But Not Limited To:

  • Assist maintenance techs, repair, and maintain resort facilities, equipment, and systems.
  • Assist in complex and specialized diagnosis and repair on resort facilities and related equipment, and systems including pumps, motors, compressors, piping, boilers, HVAC systems, mechanical drives, air handling units, valves, filtration devices, chemical feed systems, lighting systems/controls, and other related equipment and systems; and help with specialized and difficult tasks associated with plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical and mechanical projects.
  • Abide by all safety regulations and procedures.
  • Operation of Heavy Equipment - Occasional requirement to operate a Loader, Snow Removal Equipment, Groomer and other equipment necessary to maintain the property.
  • Snow Removal - Granlibakken maintains a snow removal contract that requires all Maintenance employees to be available on snow days to help with snow removal. Generally a snow day is called when at least 3” of snow has accumulated on the roads and pathways.
  • Perform general maintenance functions related specifically to the upkeep of resort facilities, systems, and equipment.
  • Must be able to lift at least 40lb’s.
  • Other duties as may be assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Education: Culinary school degree, completed apprenticeship or equivalent experience will be preferred but not required.
  • Experience: As a professional cook preferred.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Food Handler's card may be required.

  • Ensure proper setup and breakdown.

  • Maintain cleanliness of coffee machines & truck.
  • Communicate clearly with all guests to ensure proper service.
  • Provide concierge services and local knowledge of the Lake Tahoe area.

  • Work at various locations, mostly in Tahoe City.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
