Seasonal Conference and Special Events Coordinator

 

Shifts Available:

  • Full-time from May through September, must be able to work weekends.

Seasonal Conference and Special Events Coordinator Duties Include But Not Limited To:

  • Work with conference coordinators and clients to prepare for group's arrival
  • Enter agendas, schedules, and BEOs prior to group's arrival
  • Work as liaison between front desk, banquets, A/V, and coordinating teams to ensure flawless conference experiences for clients.
  • Provide concierge services and local knowledge of the Lake Tahoe area.
  • Interact with guests and service staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Seasonal Conference and Special Events Coordinator Job Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum Age requirement 18-21 years old.
  • Excellent communication skills in English required.
  • Excellent organizational skills required.
  • Proficiency in Delphi, Word, and Excel preferred but not required.
  • First Aid and CPR Certificates preferred but not required.

Barista/Bartender

 

Shifts Available:

  • 2 Morning 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
  • 2 Night 1:00 pm - 9:30 pm

Granspot Barista Duties Include But Not Limited To:

  • Ensure proper setup and breakdown.
  • Serve and clear food and beverage items according to Granspot requirements.
  • Serve beer, wine, and mixed drinks.
  • Ensure full knowledge of menu and beverage selections for the Granspot.
  • Maintain cleanliness at the Granspot.
  • Communicate clearly with all guests to ensure proper service.
  • Provide concierge services and local knowledge of the Lake Tahoe area.
  • Interact with guests and service staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Granspot Barista Job Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum Age requirement 18-21 years old.
  • Good communication skills in English are required.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Food Handler's card may be required.
  • Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) License preferred but not require.
  • First Aid and CPR Certificates preferred but not required.

Dining Server

 

Shifts Available:

  • Morning 6:00 am - 3:00 pm
  • Night 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm

Dining Servers Duties Include But Not Limited To:

  • Dining room servers are responsible for checking all dinner dining room set-ups.
  • Preparation of butters, creamers, waters, set up rolls and bread baskets, soup bowls and under liners when needed.
  • Serving buffet or sit-down dinner.
  • Taking care of customer needs.
  • Bar set ups when needed, chill wines, and or prepare wines and wine glasses for service.
  • Reset all meeting rooms and dining rooms for the following day’s morning – breakfast service.
  • Various cleaning duties may include: vacuuming dining rooms, wiping chairs, spot clean carpets, organizing dirty linens, sweeping decks, emptying deck garbage cans, cleaning bars, setting up and taking sown dance floors after functions, making sure conference rooms are locked, check exec lodge (general cleaning).
  • Filling out food and beverage function accounting form at the end of each shift.
  • In addition, on occasion you may be asked to help out in other departments when needed.

Dining Server Job Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: No initial experience required.
  • Good English communication skills required for interaction with hotel guests and

Front Desk Agent

 

Front Desk Agent Duties Include But Not Limited To:

  • Greet guests (with a smile) and perform registration procedures;
  • Provide guests with appropriate and accurate resort information
  • Verify guests' credit, and establish payment for the accommodation;
  • Assist guests with, and follow up on, issues and complaints;
  • Answer incoming calls: provide resort information, make reservations or direct to appropriate department.
  • Possess knowledge of reservation policies and procedures; including groups OTAs and IRMs.
  • Maintain current knowledge of local area, attractions, events and weather.
  • Perform other duties as assigned;
  • Be able to competently perform all tasks on shift checklists
  • Maintain an upbeat and positive attitude when interacting with guests.
  • Open & close front desk as needed.

Front Desk Agent Job Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous guest service or hotel experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills required for guest interactions.
  • Basic computer (Microsoft Office) and typing skills required.

Group Lodging Assistant

 

Group Lodging Assistant Duties Include But Not Limited To:

  • This position will assist the Group Lodging Coordinator in processing and monitoring details for all Conference reservations
  • Assist Front Desk on busy check in days by handling issues that may arise with a Group Reservation
  • Answering phones
  • Customer service; checking patrons in and out of the resort
  • Working with conference Groups
  • Shipping and receiving parcel
  • Group Lodging rooms and billing; data Entry
  • Maintaining office supplies

Group Lodging Assistant Job Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in RDP Software (will get Trained)
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to multi task

Head Housekeeper/Houseman

 

Head Housekeeper/Houseman Duties Include But Not Limited To:

  • Hire, manage and direct housekeeping staff with consult of Granlibakken, to accomplish tasks assigned to the Department.
  • Work with other departments to maintain AAA 3 diamond or higher standards for the property.
  • Assure that inventory of the rooms is up-to-date in accordance with established requirements
  • Clean assigned guest rooms, according to preset standards and procedures. Duties include, but are not limited to making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning bathrooms and vacuuming.
  • Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, writing supplies, and bathroom items according to preset standards and procedures
  • Report maintenance problems immediately.
  • Follow established chemical procedures and key control procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Head Housekeeper/Houseman Job Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of cleaning equipment, methods, and chemicals also preferred.
  • Good English communication skills required for interaction with hotel guests and staff.
