Cedar House Pub Manager

Cedar House Pub Manager Duties Include But Not Limited To:

  • Schedule proper staffing for the season for the Cedar House Pub.
  • Manager labor and costs for the season in the pub
  • Serve and clear food and beverage items according to pubs requirements.
  • Ensure that menus, bars, and tables are properly set according to specific function diagrams and standards.
  • Attend all pre-shift meeting to ensure knowledge of event menu and requirements.
  • Ensure full knowledge of menu and beverage selections for the pub.
  • Maintain cleanliness in Cedar House
  • Ensure that all side stations are stocked to appropriate standards for the pub.
  • Communicate clearly with all guests to ensure proper service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Cedar House Pub Manager Job Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of one-year serving experience required.
  • Good communication skills in English are required.

This is a seasonal job position that starts mid-November 2017 & goes through April 2018. There is opportunity to transition to a different department within Granlibakken Tahoe once this seasonal position ends. Job is only on Friday, Saturday evenings & during Holidays. Perfect for a high school student.

Back Server/Busser

Back Server/Busser Duties Include But Not Limited To:

  • Assist in serving sit-down dinner.
  • Bus dinner table.
  • Taking care of customer needs.
  • Reset dining room for the following day.
  • Various cleaning duties may include: vacuuming dining rooms, wiping chairs, spot clean carpets, organizing dirty linens, sweeping decks, emptying deck garbage cans, cleaning bars, setting up and taking down dance floors after functions, making sure conference rooms are locked, check exec lodge (general cleaning).
  • In addition, on occasion you may be asked to help out in other departments when needed.

Back Server/Busser Job Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience: Will train

Housekeeping/Houseman: Full Time & Part Time

 

JOB SUMMARY:

This position will perform a combination of cleaning duties to maintain cleanliness in guest rooms, common areas and outside property according to established procedures.   Also inspect rooms for arrivals to make sure they are ready for the guest and meet all standards.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  1. Clean assigned guest rooms, common areas, offices, storage units and outside property according to preset standards and procedures. Duties include, but are not limited to making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning cars, carpets and trash pick up.
  2. Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, writing supplies, and bathroom items according to preset standards and procedures.
  3. Inspect rooms to get them ready for arrivals.
  4. Turn in all articles found in vacated rooms immediately and handle according to lost and found procedures.
  5. Report maintenance problems immediately.
  6. Report damages immediately to the Front Desk/Supervisor
  7. Perform other duties as assigned.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  2. Experience: No initial experience required.
  3. Knowledge of cleaning equipment, methods, and chemicals also preferred.
  4. Good English communication skills required for interaction with hotel guests and staff.

WAGES/SALARY RANGE:

Hourly $13.00 DOE

Transportation Driver: On Call 

JOB SUMMARY:

Provide safe, courteous transportation for guests and VIPs to and from various destinations in a cheerful and enthusiastic manner. Provide accurate and current information to guests about the resort, all transportation options, all surrounding attractions, and the city. Airport arrivals, departures and meet and greet services will be conducted on a regular basis.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Provides safe, courteous, and comfortable transportation for guests and VIPs to and from various destinations.
  2. Professional driving skills and conduct.
  3. Knowledge of surrounding areas, roads, attractions and airports.
  4. Performs pre-trip and post-trip maintenance check on vehicles.
  5. Completes appropriate trip and shift paperwork.
  6. Assists with maintaining cleanliness of assigned vehicle when necessary.
  7. Exhibit world-class service skills as well as positive attitude, strong work ethic, teamwork and a passion to serve!
  8. Perform other duties as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Education: High School diploma required.
  2. Experience: One or more years experience in Guest Services preferred. Professional driving experience preferred.
  3. Licenses: Valid California Drivers License and the ability to obtain Granlibakken driver permits required.

 

WAGE/SALARY RANGE:

Hourly $12.00-15.00 DOE
